Travel through Time in Taal - The Vigan of Southern Tagalog

Paradores del Castillo, you should try!

I know that the Northern part of the Philippines hides many paradise and I can't help but cry because my budget won't cooperate. Vigan located in Ilocos Norte is one of the best destinations to have in your bucket list not only during summer but any time of the year. Actually, if given the chance to travel and feel the vintage air and walk through different historical sites of that area, I swear three days will not be enough.

But since Vigan will make me spend money unlisted on my budget, I began exploring places near my howmeetwon starting in Taal. I am from Batangas City and travelling to Taal, Batangas by van costs 40 pesos; it's not so lavish to commute ann enjoy the view, wild traffic and humid with that. You will enjoy Taal more if you walk and discover its streets. Starting from the centuries old church - St. Martin of Tours to Our Lady of Caysasay (that brings the feels of St. Peter Basilica's blessings and its miraculous well where wishes do come true as some would believe whether you're an expecting mother to board exam blues and other wishes you have in mind - sky's the limit besh!), to different cafes (Cafe G or Tampuhan Cafe that only opens every weekends and restaurants like Paradores del Castillo, to its plaza, MUSEUMS (yes! Museums of famous people of Batangas during the hispanic era - with antiques that will drive you crazy), capitol, markets where you can buy their tasty, mouth-watering Tapa (best served with fried rice (sinangag) and egg (itlog) plus brewed coffee) plus their handmade barong, gowns and Filipiniana.
Museum!!!
Trust me, your 500 budget will take you to different places in Taal and it's going to be worth it plus selfie addicts like me will appreciate its picturesque view and every street of Taal will give the classic - vintage (come on, I'm getting redundant and ecstatic about this) feels and picture perfect backgrounds.
Every side and corner of Taal is historical. You might just give yourself a glimpse of the past. Houses are built with a touch of Spaniards' meticulous and sophisticated taste of architecture.

From good food to good places, Taal, Batangas is there to welcome you.

If you ever ask me more about Taal, go visit it yourself or I can accompany you and make me dreamy about it even more. :)
