Paper works! Tons of it! 

My classmate and I were wondering of a possible restos to nourish our soul for Saturday's Graduate school classes. Yes, we were thinking about food the whole day and I couldn't think of a new place to satisfy our appetite. Since she's a resident of Lipa, quite far from where she's studying, I would like to show her that Batangas City is also a nice place to stay in and also home of good food.

There goes the usual fast food restaurants near the area and though they offer yummy snacks, we want real food, something our scrumptious tummy would like. Upon setting our final steps in the exit of the university, a green marquee stood out and I saw the perfect place to eat. It was a new establishment named #SelphyShotsCafe where students, faculty and most especially coffee-lovers alike would love.

What I like about the place is its friendly and cozy ambience. Once you step inside, you'll adore the bookcase near the cashier where bookworms like me, who would like to while away time can touch, look, smell and read the compendiums on hand. It was the books that I fell for, next is of course the food and lastly, the second floor which showcase your inner diva.

The food comes to a variety of prices which are affordable and wouldn't sacrifice your daily budget. Trust me, you should proceed on the second floor if you love music; their second floor intensifies your love for music.

Wait for a few minutes for the food to arrive (I ordered chicken tonkatsu with their cheesy fries on the side while my classmate obviously, (on a diet) ordered a huge hamburger and their Okinawa milk tea, I don't really know where she put it all in), and once you're done, your full stomach will tempt you to release the "inner Beyonce, Ariana Grande" and whoever spirit animal you want to possess. Voila!!! I sang Bruno Mars' Versace on the Floor, I don't know why it's the first song that came into my playlist. Don't expect much - I'm no singer too. I just want my companion happy.

Thus, every side of the cafe is selfie-worthy. I recommend you to visit #SelphyShotsCafe just beside the university I'm studying - University of Batangas. It's located at Hilltop, Kumintang Ibaba, Batangas City. The green marquee stands out from the rest of the food place it's with.
