| Love its sting. |
Actually, after Glee ended, I had no idea of what to watch next. There comes PLL, AHS, TWD but my love for wisdom as well as something that will play with my braincells is something I look forward to. Last October of 2015, a good friend of mine showed me a series in the US from CBS entitled Scorpion. It's a series showing four brainiacs namely Walter O' Brien who has an IQ of 197 - higher than Albert Einstein. He is running a group of brainiacs together with Sylvester Dodd who is a walking calculator, Happy Quinn, a mechanical prodigy and Toby Curtis a behaviorist. They went on solving difficult missions and or problems faced by the government wherein "normal" manpower cannot handle. Team Scorpion is also helped by Agent Cabe Gallo, an FBI agent and a former Marine and Walter's love interest Paige Dineen who helps Team Scorpion develop their emotional aspect well. Paige's son Ralph is also a genius that is why both Walter and the former understand each other well.
Thus, this series helps me cope with different societal problems (well, I am not really good with handling people's stupidity so to get away with it, I watch this). Actually, this is not boring at all. It is humor-filled and will actually help you deal with words you couldn't even imagine. This series teaches about having each other's back while one is in jeopardy. This teaches you what family is all about. All of the members of Team Scorpion have different issues in life and though it happens, they can still manage to separate personal matters to professional ones. That's one heck of a drama! It satisfies the inner-James Bond in you. Since this is action-packed, you'll get to survive camp because of the on-hand materials that Happy can manipulate easily or you can still live even if you're in the middle of a desert and one of your friend is about to die. I mean this series is helping us to think fast and avoid panicking.
To be honest, I thought this one's boring but I was wrong. Everything will make you think. Like being a genius is not bad at all. It is an advantage to survive this ill-gotten society we have.
Right now, Scorpion has 3 seasons already and it has its 17th episode as of the moment. I have just finished watching the latest three episodes since I was busy weeks ago and had no time clicking on links. One that struck me the most was episode 16 of Season 3, it was my first time that Happy broke down to tears when her father was cuffed and went to prison. Having a strong personality like Happy, it is quite hard to pull that off. Hugs to happy!
And who would've thought that in some hallucination, Paige would instantly have a slight of jealousy when she "saw" Walter being kissed intimately by some anonymous woman. It's a war!
Well, this story line is just to share my affair with </SCORPION> because I admire these guys a lot! I even followed it on Instagram and followed different social media accounts to show my support with the group. And since I became a Scorpion fan already and stalked profiles of the members, I began rooting for Kelyes (Katharine Mcphee and Elyes Gabel - they're portraying Paige and Walter). The showbiz industry has eyes for them and so do I. Their chemistry is to watch for. The on-again off-again couple is really something. *insert giddy feels
I got myself a "memory full" phone because of the episodes downloaded in it so I can watch it while I'm on break from work; thanks to technology I get to watch it anytime of the day!
How about you? What's your favorite </SCORPION> episode? Or if you guys have some suggestions about what I can watch next, feel free to comment it below!
Always,
